SIAMS Inspections
As well as Ofsted inspections, Church Schools are inspected under the Statutory Inspection of Anglican and Methodist Schools (SIAMS) framework.
The SIAMS inspection makes a judgement on how distinctive and effective church schools are by evaluating:
- how far the school, through its distinctive Christian character, meets the needs of all learners;
- the impact of collective worship on the school community;
- the effectiveness of religious education;
- the effectiveness of the leadership and management of the school as a church school.

Ofsted Inspections
Section 5 Inspection
Our last full (Section 5) inspection was in February 2023. The inspectors visited a number of lessons or parts of lessons and observed most of our teachers. The inspectors held meetings with members of the governing body, staff and pupils. The inspectors observed the school's work, and looked at school documentation, including that relating to safeguarding, records of meetings of the governing body, assessment information and curriculum planning. Work in pupils’ books and displays around the school were examined. The inspectors listened to groups of pupils read.
The school was judged to be good in all areas.
