GDPR Data Protection

The GDPR is the ‘General Data Protection Regulations’.  It supercedes the Data Protection Act.  This is a new law that is being implemented across all EU countries to ensure that all data deld and processed by organisations is secure and processed lawfully.

It came into effect on the 25th May 2018.  ANY organisation that holds data will need to comply

 

Since Septepmer 2017, to ensure that the school is ready for GDPR, the school has provided training for key staff, held briefing sessions for staff and Governors, begun to review ed all of our  documents, and updated the data protection policy.

 

The  LA Data Protection Officer is Justin Harvey.  The school lead is School Business Manager, Miss Cloran.  If you have any questions about data protection please contact Miss Cloran via the school office.
